Associates, Inc. was formed
February 1, 1991
by James A. Ragland, P. E., formerly of
Huck, Ragland & Associates, Inc., and Michael V. Aderman, P. E., of
Michael V. Aderman, Associates. Ragland,
Aderman & Associates is a consulting civil engineering firm,
specializing in structural and structural restoration engineering.
The
firm offers complete consulting services which include the design and
preparation of construction documents, feasibility studies, existing
structural evaluations, and construction observations.
In addition to structural engineering of commercial buildings,
members of the firm have developed specializations in the fields of medical
facilities and rehabilitation of industrial and port facilities.

of the firm have extensive experience in designing renovations of structures
undergoing the effects of chemical attack.
In the course of designing repairs on numerous projects, procedures
have been established for expeditiously accomplishing all phases of
engineering, including field investigation and laboratory testing,
evaluation of the source and mechanism of deterioration, analysis of the
structural capacities in deteriorated conditions, preparation of repair
drawings, specifications and cost estimates, and field inspection of
construction.

the southern United States. Ragland, Aderman & Associates has available
at all times, a private airplane and experienced
pilot. The firm frequently
employs outside consultants to supplement its expertise in various fields,
including specialized structural analysis, metallurgy, geotechnical
engineering, and materials analysis.
